Long articles and web serials are more pleasant on an e-ink screen than in a browser full of ads. Web to EPUB fetches the pages you ask for, extracts the text with Mozilla Readability, and builds a standard EPUB 3 in your browser.
How fetching works
Browsers can't read other websites directly, so a small server fetches each page you request and passes the HTML to your browser. It identifies itself as a converter, fetches only the addresses you enter (and next-chapter links when you ask for them), pauses between chapters, and stores nothing.
